　　BDDE is used to form bridges between HA chains. The cross-linker is effected via the hydroxyl groups, which form an ether bond with HA and is able to withstand the body’s natural enzyme degradation. the only ingredients found in the filler are hyaluronic acid and the cross-linking agent. The latter is the BDDE, but the residual quantity is extremely low: 0.04µg/ml. This renders it fully compatible.
